Time Warner Biz Internet is a JOKE

Just called them to set up internet at my office in Venice CA.

7mb line - 3 year agreement $103 a month, $200 install

AT&T DSL

6mb line - 1 year agreement $55 a month + Free install

Am i missing something here? its only me in the office, so the speed difference isnt worth it, but wtf is teh $50+ difference per month?

Wanna know what the "$50+ difference per month?" is? Its called Profit. Its just another 50+ bucks down their pocket while they are laughing at you

Michaelious 06-06-2007 02:14 PM

Yeah $50 seems way too much!!

I switched from AT&T DSL to TW cable because I was too far from the central office to get anything over 1mb. They both suck IMO...

I personally use the Time Warner gamers package where I am at... same speeds as businesss... without the dedicated IP and other otions I really didn't need, and just about half the monthlies...

I have their biz service at my house. 10mb line for $79 a month. They offer a 15mb line, but for some reason it wont pick up in my complex (probably wiring, amps are to old). but they have a different plan for commercial structures that if i wanted the 10mb line it would cost me like $200 a month. not worth it at all.

other people in the building have at&t dsl and reach just over 5mb connection, so for $54.95 a month, i think i made my choice... no only if one of those slackers would call me back to set it up, id be ready to go
