Old Skool Advice: This Biz isn't for everyone!

I was just talking to a affiliate that has been trying to make it in this biz for about a year and half, and has yet to make more than $120 in a month. He seems to be doing things right, but for whatever reason just doesn't seem to get it... So I told him that he might not be suited for this industry and maybe should focus on finding another career path. He got pissed at first, but then thought about it and maybe will find something else that will be more productive for his life.

I'm in no way saying that a newbie can't make it these days, but its not the 90's anymore... So if you have been doing this for a year or more and still have yet to break the $1000 mark for a month, maybe you should think about a different career path as well...:pimp

I did that easily, I now make $150/month.

Agreed .. and there were plenty enough people not doing that well in the 90's too.

Im amazed how so many people just act as if they HAVE to make money in the adult business. They even come here begging for jobs for 2 bucks a hour. They are broke, cant eat but refuse to find a real job somewhere.

Fucksakes 06-06-2007 08:34 AM

I do that more than a day, but used to make 10x more, and Im worried as hell. how does someone live off 120$, maybe i need to learn that from him.

Donkey Punch 06-06-2007 08:35 AM

I have broke the $15,000/mo. barrier.

The problem is I've regressed considerably. I blame the economy.

DamageX 06-06-2007 08:50 AM

You mean just like any other biz? :winkwink:

Hell, some people even fail at flipping burgers. :1orglaugh

j/k buddy. i deal with them all day long. people you want to help but you know that they are never gonna make the mad money they think they are with the networks that they show you.

another note. about 99.99999% of the time its those people in that category that are posting the shitty ratios on the boards to fuck with the program. "OMG! FUCKYOUCASH I HAVE 1:25,000. WHATS WRONG WITH YOUR SHIT?"

:2 cents:

ThumbLord 06-06-2007 09:48 AM

yep it looks like Wizzo has a good point there.

Michaelious 06-06-2007 10:19 AM

A year and a half..fuck!

Nancy M00re 06-06-2007 11:57 AM

Yeah, It is kind of touchy but it was a very genuine advice.

I remember talking to some of my webmasters telling me they wanted to quit school to concentrate in thiz or others wanting to invest all their money starting a cash program when even though they were programming genious, it's the traffic flow they never were able to have... So it's not fun to burst someone's bublle but sometimes it's better to do it before then when it's too late :winkwink:
