When promoting revshare what is an acceptable trial to member conversion?
When promoting revshare what is an acceptable trial to member conversion? I am always doing pps but figured I would give this a shot.
Right now from may 1st until June 4th I have the following stats. 154 signups 34 Trial to rebills for %22.08 percent. |
it really depends. 1 on the % paid out. 2 how long do rebills last.
Acceptable for me would be atleast 30-40% because these people would actually have to stay members for 2 months to make the same amount as pps. Also having rebilling customers adds up. |
If the program also offers PPS figure out what you would have made on PPS with the traffic you sent. If the $$ do not add up switch to PPS.

I would say that is low on retention of full membership. Problem is you can't take a slide rule to porn.
What were the traffic flows like? What were the tools supplied like? How good was long term membership? The only stats that count is your bank statement. You need to look at how many hours you worked, what you invested in money and the return on your labour and money. The rest is BS. |
That seems a little low. Does the site you're pushing update regularly? I've found that so many sites stop the regular updates, and guess what happens...
|
I also agree with Paul. I measure value based on money earned against resources applied.

20% is normal for non-limited access trials. With a limited access trial, you can expect much higher trial to full conversions, more along the lines of 60-70%. For example, see sig :upsidedow

As TGP owners and affiliates as well, I can tell you that we diversify between PPS and revshare and the revshare we do use are at least 25% or better. As someone mentioned earlier, the # of rebills is also important to look at and compare to a PPS sale paying you $30-$40 for example, and that's the most important # as Paul said.
That seems a bit low to be honest. We dont offer limited trials on our sites yet, but will soon, and we're between 35-45% depending on the source of the traffic. Even though we started offering PPS on our sites, many affiliates have decided to stay with the revshare model because the bottom line is $$. |
