Should I start some drama over $200?

I did a $200 epass for paypal transfer for someone a few weeks back and they have screwed me over so it looks like I am out the $200. It's not a ton of money, but the principle of it really pisses me off especially all the shady things that seem to have surrounded the deal.

Should I out the person and start some drama over this amount of money?

the Shemp 06-04-2007 01:58 PM

yes ......

mattz 06-04-2007 01:58 PM

Mine as well tell who it was, so someone else doesn't get ripped off as well

sharp 06-04-2007 01:58 PM

of course.

Aquarius 06-04-2007 01:59 PM

Of course, it is your money.

CIVMatt 06-04-2007 01:59 PM

of course.. $200 is $200, right?

Mr Pheer 06-04-2007 02:01 PM

much drama has been started here over way less than that before

Mr. Mojo Risin 06-04-2007 02:02 PM

I would... don't let thieves get away with it, especially in this industry, with all the scammers... if more people would do something about it, maybe there would be less scammers

StuartD 06-04-2007 02:03 PM

It matters not how much, but what they did.

Fuck yes. Stealing is stealing, the amount is irrelevant.

That's enough to break someone's fucking nose over, yeah

martinsc 06-04-2007 02:09 PM

of course...
gfy could use some nice drama :)

D 06-04-2007 02:10 PM

('notification of theft' == P.S.A. != drama), imho.

candyflip 06-04-2007 02:11 PM

At least let people know who the person was so it doesn't happen again.

tsanko 06-04-2007 02:12 PM

Yes...You must post it!

kane 06-04-2007 02:16 PM

well, I'm going to take off for a while. I have some stuff I need to take care of offline. I have contacted this person several times and hope they do the right thing. If it's not handled by the time I get home I'll go ahead and post the drama.

baddog 06-04-2007 02:19 PM

If you don't he will rip someone else off.

NinjaSteve 06-04-2007 02:49 PM

I say do it up!

ztik 06-04-2007 02:50 PM

Did they charge back on the epass or something?

Someone wanted me to do one for 600 so I am curious

madawgz 06-04-2007 02:51 PM

To make a long story short I sent them $200 in epass. They didn't have the money in paypal so they sold something to another webmaster and had that webmaster paypal me the money. I didn't know all of this at the time or I wouldn't have done it. Then 10 days later they never delivered the product to the webmaster who had purchased it and that webmaster (the buyer) did a charge back in paypal. Two weeks have passed with me talking to the person doing the charge back and the person I did the transfer for trying to get this guy the product he bought and today the person doing the charge back escalated the charge back because he still doesn't have it. I'm now out the $200.

The person I did the transfer for has told me a few times they will take care of it, but I have heard nothing from them in a few days.

tenderobject 06-04-2007 03:03 PM

wow thats tottally fucked up.. goodthing i only change epass to paypal with good'ol people.

Mr. Blue 06-04-2007 03:09 PM

Sounds like a shady deal all around. I'd just show him this thread, give a little threat of gfy style drama and if he doesn't cough up the money let the drama roll.

TimBlaze 06-04-2007 03:11 PM

yeah dude you can do a lot with $200, that is drama worthy

Exactly, it starts with these 200$ and the next thing this guy does is building a huge torrent site and monetizing it via AVN Ads.
