Autogallery users: Gallery scanner question
 

Quick question: When you choose to scan "All Submitted" with the Gallery Scanner, does that also apply the Gallery Scanner rules towards permanent galleries?

I guess technically the permanent galleries are imported and not submitted, but I want to make sure. I'd hate to delete all my permanent galleries.

Yeah, I tried that...it only states what permanent galleries are scanned for, not if they are included in the aforementioned scanning option. So go fuck 'youself'. :)

What version are you using? Free? Pro or SQL? I use Autogal SQL in the gallery scanner area they only have this listed: Galleries of Type Submitted/Permanent

You might want to drop this question over at their Owners Lounge Forum. It sometimes takes awhile to get an answer but they'll get there eventually :D

I'm using an older version (SQL 3.1) just cuz I like it better...& I mainly asked my question here because of the fast response time. I guess they seperate gallery types in the newer version...

I'll just take it to the owner's lounge or take a chance with a smaller site (depends on how patient I feel :))

You might consider upgrading to the 3.6...even though I liked the older version 3.1 it's always a wise move to upgrade with new releases incase of security issues with older scripts.

Also they give you a few more options in the gallery scanner...still, lol, I hated upgrading because I felt really comfortable with the 3.1 version.
