The officiating tonight was absolutely embarrassing.

Before the series I said the Ducks would take it in 5...maybe 6 and made a small wager with a buddy. Tonight's win didn't sway me in the least. If anything it convinced me they'd win it at home in game #5.

Enjoy the win Sens fans. Unless the refs are on the take like they were tonight, it's your last in the Stanley Cup Finals for a while.

I'm interested in seeing what will happen to Pronger for his elbow to McAmmonds head. He did the same to Holstrom in the Western finals and did get suspended for the hit. He may very well have played his last game in this years Finals.

Glad to see Canada in the cup, but I don't think they will win it. Only 1 team has ever come back being down 2-0 to win the cup.

He only ended up getting a game suspension. Colin Campbell said that he hit him with his forearm forcefully, not his elbow.... meh I still think it deserves more then a game. If it was regular season he would've got atleast 5 games.

Well my prediction in amacontent's thread was Ducks in 5 so I'm still looking good on that, they just need game 4 then back home to finish it :)

Predictions for game 4...

-at least one Ducks goal will be called back

-minimum 3-1 penalty differential in favor of Ottawa...Ottawa will have at least one 5 on 3.

-a ref will "inadvertently" deflect at least one puck into the Anaheim goal. The goal will stand.

-the refs will physically block a sure goal by the Ducks in Hasek like style

-Chris Neil will elbow Selanne or McDonald in the head. No penalty will be called. Head Office will review the play the next day and either Selanne or McDonald will be suspended for 1 game.

-The refs will hit the ice wearing Senator jerseys, changing them only after a complaint by Randy Carlisle...who'll get an Unsportmanlike penalty for complaining

-Upon the games completion, the refs will high five the Senator players

- In the interest of "fairness", the league will force the Ducks players to use smaller sticks ad not allow Giguere to wear any equipment

Anyhow it's the Finals, both teams are playing hard and it will get dirty. Just sucks the refs seem to be very one-sided.

Also, Pronger shouldn't have even got the game or the DET one considering the refs didn't call any penalty on him on both incidents.

Im with you on this one man!!! Its ridiculous this is his 2nd incident with blows to the head this post season!!!! His last one was even more vicious and it was only 1 game aswell!! Its ridiculous!!
