LOST theories... (spoilers)

I've been reading a bunch of theories here: http://theoriesonlost.blogspot.com/

A lot of them are bullshit, but this one seems to be pretty feasible.

Quote:

The island is the hub of all dimensions like on a bicycle with all the spokes being multiple dimensions.

When 815 crashed on the island they were in Dimension (A). In this dimension Kate was a fugitive married to Nathon Fillion (of Serenity fame). Charlie couldn't swim. And Jack's dad drank himself to death.

Desmond doesn't push the button - BOOM the hatch BLOWS and dimension shift. Now they are in Dimension (B).

Mrs Hawkings (and others like her) are like "course correction" police. They make sure the dimensions stay aligned. They'll be back soon enough I'm guessing.

Naomi lands on the island telling them they all died. She tells Charlie he was a famous musician and they released his "greatest hits" (But in dimension (A) driveshaft was a one hit wonder).

Jack gets everyone rescued but they return to Dimension (B) where Jack's dad is still alive, and Kate is still married to Nathon Fillion.

They all make a pact not to discuss what happened, or they are coerced by Widmore not to talk about it or be branded insane.

Ben doesn't really exist off the island so he commits suicide in a loft, and only Jack goes to his funeral because he understands Ben was right. They shouldn't have left.

Jack needs to realign the dimensions "course correct" or risk going insane from the paradox.

I think he is going to seek out Penny Widmore who is going to help him (and a FEW other LOSTIES) try and return to the island where Desmond & Locke are dealing with Widmore's intrusion on the island.

That seems a prety cool, that one actually fits.

That may not be "the" explanation but it at least works.

My problem is I can't remember everything that well. So when in the finale the flashback turned out to be a flash-forward, I was like: "wait a minute, wasn't Jack's father dead?" But I wasn't sure Jack's father had died because I don't remember that well.

But this show is getting just too tangled up for me. My wife will probably force me to watch next season but I don't know if I'd watch it on my own accord.

sounds too silly TBO

Stopped watching after season 2 ended. I was board to tears with nothing happening. If season 3 is this good I may have to watch...

they have already made it clear that the survivors are not on purgatory or "anything like that".....

i think the other dimension stuff might be a little too brainy - the fact that locke's dad showed up on the island makes me think it's some sort of tv show or something - it is still an experiment of sorts
