ok, so the bestbuy.com site says it was released Aug 24th, it's Aug26, and I can't still find it in stores. Anyone knows what's going on?

If you WOULD be into the warez scene, would you know if it is good? Because as far as I know, it's not ready and hasn't gone gold yet. Pre-gold releases are normally late-betas or hoaxes.

I have been playing a beta version for a week or so :-) The game looks very very nice! The new 3d engine kicks ass, but my gforce 4 ti4200, is stressed at 1024x768 at full detail, I think this is due to small pre-realease bugs.

I have build 927 too. Some of the environment mapping effects are fucked up on my Radeon 8500.

Other than that, the game is going to kick ass. Incredible detail. I can see that AA is going to have to become a standard as we move into higher polygon games as the edges of polygons are not AA'ed whereas the insides are already.
