I Will Never Do A Prepay With Sexsearch Again
 

So a long time ago when Raja worked for sex search we set up a prepaid deal with em. Then he left it went to shit from there. but anyway we couldnt get any of the right links for anything rom anyone for the longest time. So we ended up just sticking em up just because we's been paid no links nothing just sent em shit. Then like 6 months later or somthing they hit us up asking for the traffic. We went round and round about it and told em we had sent it and we faught and argued about it. Well anyway we pretty much said ok we fucked up we will put you back up. So we sent then our #1 pop up and our #1 pop under and have been sending to them for at least a month or more who knows. I havnt checked stats or anything on it. Just figured I'd leave it up. Actually we pretty much forgot about it honestly. Well I got hit up today and was told "ryan.. you guys are still sending which is cool but its way too slow.. 35 sales so far... out of 1000 .. i have lots of new tours and other creatives"

I routinely send out WAY more then that per day off my console's, let alone a month lol . Many people here can attest to that as I was sending em all to you guys. So anyway by beef is over

Sort of sounds like it's been fucked up for a long time.. but I would think that unless you made some guarantee to them, don't give any money back. It's a risk everyone takes and they should have managed that buy better. IMO it's their own fault.

If it converts that shitty, you're better off paying them back and using other sponsors that actually convert.

prepays are an old game.. get people to take a prepay then shave the living shit out of them so hard that after a few months you say "you only made x sales out of y that you promised, please erfund the balance"... and then you walk away with most of your money plus the joins you wanted.

ask any old school spammer how much they liked prepay deals and how it always seems to take longer to fulfil joins when they are done as a prepay.

I wouldn't give them shit. They don't mind using and supporting zango which is stealing from you and the rest of us. I figure if a company doesn't mind doing something like that, then what else wouldn't they mind doing? I say fuck them.

Does SS send you traffic through their members areas, cross-sells, upsells or exits?

I know my stats have been rather poor since their upgrade, about 25-30% decrease in number of profiles/sales. I'm not sure whats going on with their tracking, but its definitely worse than before the upgrade.

WOW! The almost exact thing happened to us. Prepaid exit spot for the joins. Got the creatives from them targetting the campaign we had setup. Sent them the required free joins we agreed on, they came back and said, no we said sales. Keep in mind, everything we talked about was for free joins, ALL THE CREATIVES they sent me were for FREE JOINS. The campaigns we were running were for free joins. Everything was for free joins. They got the joins, didnt convert them (with the same traffic that gets converted by other dating sponsors) and came back to me making it seem like we didnt hold up our end of the deal with one of their sales reps taking a very arrogant tone.

Wont use them again.

They are a shit company, They have no problems stealing from affiliates by using zango why would they have a problem fucking you? Sorry that you had to learn in this way. But don't bother sending them money as they are obviously trying to fuck you.

Isn't it amazing that 9 time out of 10 when stats systems get changed things go bad in the favor of the affiliate program.

I don't understand prepaid deals from either side. I would never prepay anyone for that much traffic, what if the person's dissapears or doesn't follow through, not like that doesn't happen every day.

As an affiliate I would never accept a prepaid deal because I don't want to feel like I owe someone something. I don't want to deal with the complaining if sales are down or just deal with it period. Much like the problems you had.

What is wrong with sending traffic and getting paid for your signups ? seems like it works great for both parties.

BTW, I wonder how many of your sales were stolen by zango and spyware. lol.

I could see this getting ugly if they prepaid you for 1000 joins i am sure that is a nice chunk of change and if they claim you only sent 35 sales, i could see them wanting you to send back the money.... this isn;t going to end well lol.

I agree with you 100%. Fuck them.. If they don't mind stealing from other webmasters than they don't deserve shit. Don't give even 1 penny back. Chances are they shaved you and figured you would never know.
