Not having a cable modem must SUCK!
So today I'm working from a cafe with free wifi. It's not as fast as my cable modem at home and sometimes shit draaaaaaaaags. But I was at the University earlier chillin' and workin' and it was just as fast but with nobody on the network since it's dead.
It got me thinking about people over in some European countries and what not, connected through dsl or idsn or whatever the hell they're using with 512kb streams and blah blah. OUCH! I couldn't imagine the pain of slow internet beyond this cafe. I don't know how people in the U.S. can still be on dialup. Damn. |
Not when you have something better...VERIZON FIOS! 30MB down baby!! :thumbsup

My mom lives amongst the corn fields in Michigan... has no cable or dsl, so she's stuck with dial up.
Visiting her is PAINFUL! |

I had gone two weeks on dialup one time because my DSL was down while my provider switched over to a new owner because they got bought out. That was seriously painful. I almost slept at my job then because we had a T1. LOL.
What is the upstream bandwidth on that FIOS?? |
