LEBRON JAMES - Who's Your Daddy Now?

I hate to be modest, I was damn good tonight. Biggest game of my life and I think its fair to say I broke out the hammer.

Does anyone doubt me now? So much smack talk this series. I think the proof is on SportsCenter.

Kobe is poop. Notice without Shaq, he can't get anywhere? Its all fun and games to score 50+ points but if you aren't making it deep in the playoffs, what good is it?

I am the KING

I was pretty much the only one on the team for the 4th, OT and 2OT and look at our team now. Just proves that one elite player can take over a game. And I still get my boys involvled.

48 points, 9 boards and 7 assists.
Scored 29 of the Cavs last 30 points with 25 points in a row.

LeBron is NOT and is never going to be Jordan. He's a great player for sure, but he's more of a distributor than a scorer. Last night was an aberration.

Think better scorer than Magic, better passer than Jordan.

4 seconds left in the game, title on the line, I'd give the ball to Kobe every time. He's more creative and a better shot maker.

cosis 06-01-2007 09:08 AM

Lebron doesn't need to be Michael Jordan, he is his own person..... I agree he passes better then Jordan and scores better then Magic...... He has the leadership to make him great. Oh yeah and he is only 22 years old and already taking his team to the championship once they beat Detroit.

About Kobe he can score all he wants but if your team doesn't get past the first round in the playoffs no one is going to remember.

TheAmericanCannibal 06-01-2007 10:16 AM

I love you Lebron
You make me almost proud enough to say I am a fellow native of Cleveland...
lol

You rocked the house last night kid,
Now go fuck your next door neighbor

Kobe is a more clutch player. Jordan is the great one. I have always said that handing Lebron the "Better than Kobe or Jordan" card is ill-advised. He has a long ways to go.

That said, what he did last night was unprecedented and challenges both Kobe and Jordan's performances on any given night. Lebron won last night, it would not have mattered if Kobe or Jordan was his rival.

Anyone know who the only guy to win a title and average 20+ during the season at age 23 or younger was? If Lebron does it, his name will be the second : )

I would wager $100 its Kobe too, it just has to be.

Cory W 06-01-2007 01:08 PM

At age 22, Bryant's key statistics compare favorably to those of Michael Jordan at the same age. In 1984-85, His Airness averaged 28.2 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 5.9 APG. Through Dec. 19, Bryant was averaging 29.0 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 4.8 APG. But the Laker swingman's feats are particularly impressive, because, unlike MJ, Bryant also must share the ball (and, by extension, statistical kudos) with reigning league MVP, Shaquille O'Neal.

Guess who won the title this year? : )

please stop comparing these guys to jordan, you cant compare anyone to the NBA's greatest player ever. Maybe when all is said and done, but not right now.

2) kobe
3) lebron

if lebron wins a championship a few times..he can be #2

I cant believe you retards can even mention kobes name. KOBE IS A DAM CHOKE ARTIST will never do anything without shaq . HE hardly makes the playoffs has never had an mvp shoots 35% and always chocks when it counts. FInaly somone in the league that can be compared to MJ without people spiting on him GO LEBRONNNNNNNNNNN

VoteForPedro 06-01-2007 03:09 PM

Kobe is great but never in his wildest dreams could he do what Lebron has done (with the team that Lebron has around him) against the Pistons (who just so happen to be the greatest defensive team of the last decade). He is missing 2 key ingredients: Heart and Balls.

But hey, if you want 81 points against a lottery team with a sub par defense, he is your man. Kobe has all of the talent in the world but is missing key intangibles. Kind of like Roy Jones Jr. in boxing.

Talking about banging your girl?

D-Money 06-01-2007 03:46 PM

Kobe is Kobe

Jordan is Jordan

LeBron is Jordan, Oscar and Magic rolled up in one big ass mutha fucker!

It doesn't make him better then Jordan or Kobe... Yet.

But I can say that he's a better team player then Kobe. If you put Kobe on this Cavs team they wouldn't be this far. If you put LeBron on the Lakers instead of Kobe, I believe they'd be in the playoffs.

This is due to his size, rebounds and also assists.

But Kobe is still greater right now because he's won it all a few times.

There is no doubt that LeBron is the next Jordan/Magic/Oscar.

We are all witnesses.

And not a single one of those rings did he win on his own. When Lebron puts his ring on it will be there because of his efforts, not because of Shaq's.

It's a team sport, no one can say they won anything on their own. It's really irritating to listen to people that can't understand such a simple thing. How many years was Shaq in LA? Did they win every year? That's because the play of the role players can make a huge difference.

How many years did Jordan come close only to get beat? It is never all on one guy. If you are so into individuals go watch tennis.

That being said Lebron was nothing short of perfection the other night. But even so, things like the late game steals Eric Snow had helped make it possible.

You must be talking about Bird or Pete Maravich right? Jordan was the most overrated player that has ever put on sneakers. He got away with so much traveling and fouls it wasn't even funny.

Lebron is a class act. Jordan, Kobe and the rest are all about themselves in a team sport.

Lebron and Tim Duncan. This will be the classiest final in a decade or 2.

WELL SAID. People sometimes seem to forget about class when it comes to sports. Kobe has none at all. Jordan wasn't too bad but was more of a solo player.

Tim Duncan and Lebron are true TEAM players. So is Kevin Garnett :thumbsup
