Only one speaker has sound

I am using Klipsh Promedia 2.1 -- it's hooked up correctly but I am not getting sound out of the left channel -- my sound card balance is set to center... anyone know how I can get sound out of the left channel?

make sure on your volume settings its not pointing to one speaker and also check the cables

no good -- this happened before when i first built the computer back in july -- took it to the shop and they fixed it.. didnt ask how though. ill give them a call tomororw.
