Billy's father coaches here locally, Billy actually fund raised for the catholic school in Gainesville, his whole family and extended family moved to Gainesville this past season so we are very shocked and saddened.

On a good note the NBA needs some help as things have been sliding in the past and I am sure Billy will stir things up some.

I lived in Starke FL for a year .. what a hick shit hole. driving to the mall in Gainesville was such an exciting day ...lol and I remember everything being Gators .. Orange all around

I'm torn because I'm also a Magic fan. I'd prefer Billy staying in Gainesville, but I always knew he'd eventually go to the NBA so if that was going to happen anyways it might as well be Orlando.

As far as teh UF recurits. Yeah maybe they're a bit miffed, but on the other hand hopefully they understand they are a good team anyways and trust me Florida is a in demand job so UF will get a quality coach.
