SEATTLE - A 27-year-old man described as one of the world?s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

Robert Alan Soloway is accused of using networks of compromised ?zombie? computers to send out millions upon millions of spam e-mails.

?He?s one of the top 10 spammers in the world,? said Tim Cranton, a Microsoft Corp. lawyer who is senior director of the company?s Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. ?He?s a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day.?

He has been living in a ritzy apartment and drives an expensive Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma. Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit $773,000 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing Corp.

what does everyone say when someone compliments your slk?

hey guys,

just wondering, what do you young guys say to people that compliment
your car, when you know they are saying it, hoping for an explanation of
how someone so young can afford such a "toy"...

I'm 23 years old living in a blue collar small town in oregon, so
everytime someone compliments my car, i don't know if to say thank you,
or to explain that i'm a bastard and i dont' deserve the car? :) (even
though i did pay for it)

my responses are usually
1) hey, someone has to be the bastard...
2) thanks, it's all yours if you want to make the payments (if it's a
nice old lady that thinks i'm a drug dealer that paid cash for it or
something :)

whenever i end up saying thank you, i always end up feeling really bad
for some reason.. especially if they don't have that nice of a car... is
that just me?

anyone else got any ideas what to say? :)

if hes in the top 10...he must have been making 10-20k/day +

They said that they only got 3 of his bank accounts.

So I am guessing that there is a LOT more, that they did not get.

Also keep in mind, that MOST people that start making big money, start living a BIGGER life. and when the money ends, they own very little to nothing.

No lol i feel the same way, when I had my VW Cabrio I got a lot of compliments, but then again i knew i deserved me car....so it didn't bother me THAT much ya know?

a vw cabrio and a mercedes slk arent exactly in the same ballpark.
