I'm off to bed but I like Amy and From what I could gather in the last 10 hours of back and forth she felt that she didn't want her image being used by keeping the galleries active and sending them to another site. she felt it was her image and affiliates had time to change there links so she could send it to her new join page now. i disagree and the only resolve was to kill the galleries. Sometimes it doesn't work out and We wish her luck.

ironically enough, the ONLY sale I've ever made with Satancash was made recently from a re-directed Amysworld Gallery that went to Josie Junior :P

My side to the story:

I changed the links on the galleries because I was tired of being cut out of the loop. Whenever people would sign up through the links, ONLY Satancash and the affilaites would get credit FROM MY GALLERIES.

There is A LOT to the story but because of our contract, I can not go into details of the nature of our agreement.

The bottom line is this... on April 4th, affiliates were given warning that I was leaving Satancash and that I was going to have my links redirected until they could change up the galleries. They received 2 MORE warnings after. It has been over a month of redirected traffic to JosieJunior. How long did you all expect to keep on with that?

I did not want JosieJunior to be associated with my name anymore, why is there a problem with that?

By the way, in case you didnt gather from this, I was not receiving any money from affiliate sign ups from Satancash, nor did they plan on giving me any at the time of the split.

Oh and by the way: Noone has a right to cut out the person whose images are making the sale. That is WRONG.

Ok, last post before bed but I keep seeing things that are irritating me:

I am a BIT irritated by this comment by Mike: The galleries were hosted on a domain that was to be returned to Amy at the end of our agreement. Maybe an oversight on our part at the time but we didn’t anticipate her losing interest in the site and us not renewing the agreement. It was a lesson learned and I’m not ashamed to say that.

My response to that: You did know I lost interest within a couple months of signing the agreement. The whole reason I lost interest was because I was out of the loop (once again). You knew MONTHS in advance that this transfer was taking place and I wasnt renewing and YOU chose to not take the appropriate steps to ensure affiliates were taken care of. What were you going to do? Keep me linking to Josie Junior forever???

but the facts are simple ... we entered into an agreement, ONE YEAR ONLY and I chose not to renew. Satancash knew that WAY in advance. The only thing I "lost interest in" was Satancash.

I was stupid and let the domain go... someone has it now... I am sad. lol

But I still have all the affiliate tools from there (banners and such). All I gotta do is make a new affiliate site. Not hard to do.

Amy, a piece of advice you can take it or leave it.

The best thing you can do now is forget about any past issues or get in any sort of he said/ she said type of thing. Just move on. The more drama associated with a solo girl site the less affiliates will even look at it.

I would suggest you work on content production and alliances with other links ( buy your own cheap hard links, work your own myspace, work your own video marketing for free on the tube sites they all allow you to submit on your own) and then do content deals and link exhanges with other solo girls close by ( Vegas, LA, Arizona, etc.... like JaneB for example or others that run their own site.) get with someone like Jace and set up your own blog, and trade with other style blogs, hell I am sure he can even help you with that , the fee for the service is way less than giving up a percentage. I mean if you want to be in sole control, then it is time for you to take control of yourself and your actions to improve your business, you said you are a business woman right ?

Then try to go after the surfer, rather than any new affiliates right now . people that want to promote you or did sales with you will come and search you out, others are not going to start promoting you at the present time anyway as they either already tried and didnt make any money/sales or they are not solo girl promotors, or they only have so much room and are promoting the ones they have done well with already, etc...... etc.... the reason can go on forever and I am sure you have heard a million excuses from so called " friends" as to why they are not actually sending sales already LOL

I mean people of course here will try to be nice to you to get in your pants, or think they can and all that shit... but seriously didnt you try that route already? did it get you the result you wanted? ( not saying you fucked anyone or care either way if you did or did not) I am saying dont worry about being on the inside crowd, and worry more about getting the surfers attention than the affiliate and you will do much better I think for yourself in the short run. Good luck to you, as Mike V said sometimes things just dont work out, doesnt mean anyone was " the bad guy" in any relationship it just means that that particular combination was not going to work for whatever reason and no reason to try to make it worse by fighting about negative shiot rather than spending your time and energy on what you really want and that is improving your bottom line and success right ? good luck to you.

Joesho, I was only stating my side to the story. That's that. I am only focused on my site right now and dont plan on worrying about outside traffic yet (the reason I dont have a big affiliate program site). Seriously, I am very happy right now.
