just got back from a Matrox and CS3 seminar
 

I'm not impressed by the seminar presenters .. I kept stumping them with my question .. at the end most of the attendees came to me with they're question .. LOL

But seriously the new Adobe production Studio looks awsome. adbobe bought the rights to (damn Can't remember the name) a new software that will allow you to color correct before you capture, but this will only be available with the Production studio bundle and will not work with any other Real times cards from Matrox other then the rtx.2, Fuckers! .. The new color correction features, Multi camera features look awsome for the New 3.0 Premier pro up grade .. However to get the full Use of the adobe Production Studio . you need Matrox's RTX.2 Card. Other then that I don't feel the Up grade from 2.0 is worth it.


BTW they still couldn't answer my questions on that F&%$#% Abobe Time up date window . that F(%$# keeps crashing my system!!!

Dayyum I'll have to watch for the tour coming through town... I've been digging CS3 over 2, but still things that would nice to see bundled better, especially with the infusion of Macro products into the mix the past releases

I'm talking about Adobe Premiere Pro 3.0 .. Not photoshop CS3 (That's already out) ... Adobe Premiere Pro 3.0 upgrade is slated for delivery in late june early july.

I'm with ya... most of my work tends to run through the photo/web side thus my comments on the other side of CS3...

I've heard a bit about CS3 ... not much though .. what are the new features?

I am getting a (nearly) free version of Premiere Pro CS3 (only $6.98 shipping) when it is released because I upgraded to ver. 2.0 recently for $199. Anyone else using ver. 1.5 (or 2.0 even) can get ver.2.0 and a free ver CS 3 for the same $199 special deal on the web site. I had to spend another $99 for the new Aspect HD (Cineform's HDV plugin) to follow suit.

That's quite a deal when you realize that Encore 3 (dvd authoring app) and also something called On Location software (a program that Adobe purchased from a third party co. and renamed) is included.

Vid, I have never used a special video card, just firewire for either DV or HDV now. I'm not buying the whole bundle from scratch of course, since I already own Premiere Pro, Encore, and Photoshop CS2. What features of the bundle requires a Matrox's RTX.2 Card?
