Hey whats up people - Im a n00b here, and I started a free adult photo vote site. I was curious if any1 else here has such a site - or what you guys think of em?

Yup thats it. I didnt want to put it in my sig until I got at least a few more posts under my belt and if an admin says its ok for me to do so.

I started the site about a month ago, and its doing ok I guess. I only posted some of the pics to Usenet, so I get my traffic only from there - I have no other links going to this site, but its managing I guess over 10K page views a day. You have to understand that a site like this will get a shitload of page views, so its not like I have thousands of visitors yet - maybe a few hundred if anything, but regardless - I think I have a cool site that will eventually 'pic' up. ;) This is my first 'stab' at an adult site.

So I wanted to know if any1 else here has this type of site? Any tips, do's and don;ts that could help me out.

I know some people make money on those sites, but it was my experience that they eat more bandwidth than they make in sponsorship.

As far as making money with my rating site, I dont.. Altho I havent really tried to make it into a money maker, I kind of do it for fun. I was thinking of maybe doing some kind of marketing with the huge user database the site has, but I'll prob never get around to it. The site is more of a hobby and a chance to get better at coding.

Yea mine is already eating a lot of bandwidth, but I got 400 to spare from RS, so Im not complaining - YET.
