I bought one for my kid when they first came out, I just got one two days ago too.

Get the memory stick first and foremost. I hated playing and then loosing it all cause no save.

Ah yeah, got that... I hit a store on Memorial Day for their sale. Their 1GB card was $40 and their 2GB card was $30.... half price sales rule!!

So now I figure I have the space to be downloading what ever I need on there, with room to spare for saving games

Get a 4g card from tigerdirect or buy.com ..i think i got mine there for cheap. then get a software that will let you convert DVDs. I use http://www.pqdvd.com/psp/ it works real well and is very simple. I know you can use other programs that I'm sure you have like Vegas but this is nice and easy. you can install it on 3 PCs i think. I get about 6-8 DVDs on one card in pretty good quality. I love it for travel and the games are cool also. I like the racing and ATV games because you can hop on and just play a fast race. GTA and SoCom are cool if your looking to spend a bit more time playing like on a plane or something. They are great for the car if you have kids also. I bought a headrest mount and my older son watches movies on long trips on his and I put a few Barney and Blues Clues movies on a card for my younger one. I let him use mine when we drive. they have a lot of uses and is the only game system i can say i use. I have a PS3 and never use it ..

I was messing around with one of my PSPs last night for the first time in a while. I've been hooked on playing the Nintendo DS during my shit breaks.

Lots of hot new PSP games coming out soon, but I still don't like the fact that it's missing the second analog stick...and I'm too chicken shit to do one of the add on mods.

I've used 2 of the free ones and both wouldn't convert newer DVDs. the Copy protect got in the way. I don't mind paying for it if it works.

PSPs seriously rock. Set the browser to smart fit and check your sites

Ratchet & Clank kicks ass on it.

I rendered some of our video content to play on it and yes, it's a killer platform.
