actually... you'll like the north-central area.. largely encompassed by an area called "hyde park" very much.. its super liberal.. so they dont mind a certain amount of nakedeness, drunkeness and drugedness..

and it's pretty close to the utexas campus and the best titty bar... so really.. the breast of all worlds ;-)

I was lookin at real estate sites online and it seems you can get a nice place for about 250k am I right or are those all in the "other" side of town?

yes, you can get a decent place for 250k.... yo'ure not going to be in the bad parts of town..

Austin is differen because it is such a huge college town in that it is divided into 3 parts of town rather than 2 like most cities.

1) the nice part (aka the rich part)
2) the bad part (aka the "other" part)
3) the fun part (aka where all the college kids live... aka north-central austin -> central austin)

anywhere between north central and central will be a huge pussy fest.
