Anyone stayed in Bali?
 

I am going to Bali for a bit in a few weeks and was thinking about getting a Villa but cant choose one!

Was wondering if anyone has stayed in any of these villas and if so how did they like it? I am looking for a 3 bedroom one closer to the beach the better :)

I did in Nusa Dua - Bali Desa villas. 3 minut walk to the beach..
I also own small 2-bedroom house in Jimbaran area and its for rent.. Its not by the ocean tho..
when are you going there?

nusa dua is way better than kuta beach.
melia bali resort, with nice villas is the way to go. I stayed there and it fucking rocks.

Been years .. well before the first terrorist bombings there even...

I wouldn't call Kuta a beach.. Place is nasty. Go to Jimbaran Bay, Nusa Dua, Dream Land beach.. Lovina.. Don't even think about staying in Kuta

I stayed in Seminyak Hotel, pretty nice place, ocean front.

Once my buddy and me were coming back from a disco and local pimps offered us local hookers with the words: "May be lady? Lady?..." And one said: "May be lady boy?" Shit, we were quite stoned and burst out laughing like crazy. We scared all the pimps away :)

Hit me up on ICQ tomorrow bro. I’ll give you few tips and help you out with inexpensive guide to use while you’re there. He’s my personal friend and can take you to paces that no other mainstream guide can. He has rented entire fishing boat for me for $50 bucks a day including 2 guides for tuna fishing trip, while main tourist offices would charge 120 a head for half day trips. When are you going there? I’m flying out to Bali in mid July myself..

I have been to Bali but never stayed in the kind of accommodation u speak of. I stayed at the Nathan Hotel and it was pretty nice for $25 back in 2004.
