I used to love cars - now anything with a gas moter is turning me off.


all I see is a monopoly and death every time i see a gas engine

i want better public transit

i will take my bike more.

i'm about greed - cool toys - making people drool at my stuff

I did something green last week.

Added tint to my bedroom windows facing the west. Oh my God the difference already is amazing. This should save me quite a bit on electricity this summer. Not too bad on price either, you could install it yourself and it would be paid off within a few summer months.

How exactly do you intend on convincing people with cars to switch to public transit? Free roaming vehicle that goes where you want when you want versus a schedule and path set rail car.

Big cities with high density populations is a much easier sell than sprawled out cities... San Diego for example.

Do what I do to offset my high gas usage cars - buy a smart fortwo to use as a daily driver. They are more efficient than a prius, and a suprisingly fun drive too.
