Help me decide what to do with this thing??
 

Hi there.

I am thinking about buying a certain website that is currently getting a solid 5000 uniques per day, or about 150k per month.

Problem is the site is getting this traffic primarily from blog spam. A good chunk of the traffic is from SE's and the site counters tell me the targetted keywords.

So my question is, if I was to convert the site over to a TGP style blog, or something revenue generating what would be the impact on the traffic currently coming in?

I would be sure to keep all the keywords on my new site, and any pages currently linked to from SE's would not be broken links. Rather they would either 1) redirect to the home page or 2) keep the full URL in tact and just dupe the content from the home page, or 3) keep the page in tact including existing splog content.
