I submit about one gallery every 2 days... and The Hun is always included in my submits...

I'm not auto submitting to him... and I get confirmation emails fine.. I'm pretty sure I'm not blacklisted...

But I know that I have not gotten an email from him in over 2 months.. telling me if any of my past galleries had been accepted..

Is anyone getting accepted/declined emails from The Hun lately?

If so: What was the date you submitted that gallery on?

Is he really this far behind on his gallery reviewing?

I had a Hun listing yesterday and I got word back about 3 days prior to it being listed.

I don't receive rejection e-mails anymore, I don't think he bothers with it.

I'm not asking how to get listed on The Hun.. or if The Hun sends good traffic...

I just want to know the date of when they submitted their last gallery that people have had approved on The Hun..

His rules say to submit every 3 to 4 days and your galleries have to be clean as fuck to get listed.

mabye he doesnt have the time to read them all because we have people like you breaking the rules and submitting every 2 days. if he doesnt get a chance to read it, he wont decline it he will just delete it. yeah... thats it.

Breaking the rules? I guess you could consider it that..

The only reason I can think of that would make him want one gallery every 3-4 days is because of the number of gallery submissions he must get from everyone..

I honestly think that one.. ever other day.. isn't going to make him totally ignore all of my galleries..

Maybe he just knows that my galleries could actually convert his traffic :winkwink:


I don't really care... I've been meaning to ask this question for about 2 weeks now.. and asked a couple people on ICQ and didn't get the response I was looking for.

In general, it takes at the most 3-4 days from your approval date to get listed. In general, it normally takes 2.

Took me a few goes to get accepted at the Hun's place, and even then it was on the OverFlow. However, having not had any galleries accepted I made a point of asking if he would be kind enough to give me a clue about what I was doing wrong (in the comments box on the subs form) and he (or a minion) very kindly did just that. I acted on the advice, kept trying and got listed.

The Hun folks are really quite nice, but I guess they don't have time to give a reject reason on every gallery. If you ask, though, they seem very willing to give one.

For the record, I submitted the last gallery on 22nd July, it was accepted on 23rd July and posted around the end of July (it being on OverFlow I can't tell exactly when). So you ought to hear within a day or two, though your gallery won't appear immediately.

Keep trying, and stick to the rules. Also make sure you always use the same 'handle' and email so the folks reviewing the galleries get a chance to recgnise you - I'm convinced that helps.

who told you that you did something wrong? Hun and the rest large tgp receive more than 1000s galleries/day and they list few, most of them belongs to friends, veteran tgp webmasters and paid submission. You compete with all these for the rest 20-30 spots. Try submitting galleries with no ads and you'll get good listings! :-)

I would say in last month or so, I've only been listed sporadically and without the normal notification email. Prior to that, I usually would be listed within a few days of submitting, and most of the time was notified of the listing.

Guess??? You ARE breaking the rules. Every 3-4 days probably means every 3-4 days!

If you're submitting every 2 days thats your problem. One time last spring I submitted 2 days apart and got an email saying that "you have violated the rules...both of the 2 galleries you submitted are declined for that reason. Please don't do it again."

Add to that someone said that he is just not bothering with rejection emails and thats your problem dude.
