I was grilling in my driveway yesterday and the neighbor kid came over
He just started hanging around. I knew he wanted a burger but I ignored him.
He wouldn't leave. Why can't parents keep tabs on their loser children? |
why didnt you give him some food you moron?
I guess you dont like kids? Typical asswipe |

When your house is egged every evening for 3 years (starting in a few years) you'll know why.

lol i wouldnt wanna be your neighbor
|
Feeding the neighbours kid is a good way to make sure that they will help you if you need something down the road. Most likely, they won't end you calling the cops if your house gets broken into now. They may actually get out lawn chairs and watch, maybe even cheer. Then the cost of a burger compared to the hike in your house insurance will seem like pennies. You never know when you will need your neighbours.

It's okay, you're +1 burger and -1 soul, keep it up idiot.
|
Couldn't spare a burger for your neighbor who was just a little kid?
what a dick, hope that burger was worth the karma. |
Amazing how the world has changed since I was a kid and I'm only 40.
Back in the day, you knew every neighbor on your block. You had neighborhood bbq's, block wide garage sales. Parents volunteered to run the school carnivals, played bridge together, bowled together, while the kids played together. Now days, you can live on a block for 5 years and not get to know a single neighbor. Most people don't know their neighbors, and what has this gotten us? A bunch of selfish narcissistic pricks who rarely if ever take other's feelings into consideration. I know there's going to be that group that comes in here and says that things have never changed, today's youth is no worse than the previous generations...and that's bullshit. A study came out the other day, and in college kids, narcissism has gone up 20%...shove that where the sun doesn't shine selfish pricks. |

You should at least have offered the kid a beer.

I would've gave him some :)
Gotta stay friends with the neighbors so they wont complain when u throw a party. |
Well, if he was my neighbor he would have a full stomach. Why? Why not is more the question. I am not so desperate for food that I can't offer a burger to a neighbor. Doing a good deed can have a big impact on someone's life, and your own.
The world is far too greedy, far to "me-me-me" and needs a little more of that old fashioned community feeling. No one cares about their neighbors, so why should they care about you? Honestly though, people like you are usually far to proud of their selfishness to ever be able to comprehend how being nice to people goes a long way, so I will end my post here. |
your fucking loser if you cant give the neighbor kid a fucking burger....look in the mirror and get a life
|
Grilling in your driveway? I don't know about anyone else, but I've got a backyard to grill in. Keeps the neighbours away.
|
Try grilling in the backyard if you want privacy

Nice. |
When we have a barbecue a few of my kids friends will often pop in. I always make them go and check with their parents that its ok for them to tuck in and then we all have a good feast. The kids enjoy it, and we always cook too much for us anyway.

When you come to Istanbul, Please let me know, i will take You to some nice places and You drink and eat what ever You need, don't worry i will pay for You, if not, shut the fuck up i will buy a burger to You |
First a burger may set me back like a buck.
Second, people like watching people BBQ its just an odd trait. Third, if you didnt wanna give him free food. You could of said hey if you want a burger go pick those weeds or do something around the yard. Remember he is a kid, has no job, is easily bored, and knows where you live with very little legal responsibilities. |

I wouldn't have given him food either. Unless I was friendly with his family, he can go and get his parents to make him some food.
|
lolllllllllllll
|
You did the right thing. Why encourage the hanger on-ers.... seems like you can't just have some peace and quiet and someone wants to come along and mess it up.
On another point, say you fed him a burger, meanwhile he gets food poisoning from something else he ate not long before, ends up in the hospital puking, and your neighbors sue you freaking out that you poisoned their kid......... Way not worth the hassle or risk. |
I'll be looking for a thread later this week of you complaining about the neighbor doing something or other... ahaha.
Hey, I understand, when money is tight sparing the $0.50 to feed somebody else's kid can really break the bank. Its the principal of things after all. When people were actually friendly to one another... what happened to that? |
