    Worst sales week of 2007

    sales for both myself AND my sponsors have been DISMAL this week...down over 50% from last week...I hope to God shit picks up next week because this is BULLSHIT!!!...

                                                                                      I wish that the major processors would provide some sort of guideline as to what is going on - without revealing actual numbers, perhaps to show relative values of "sales - rebills - declines - chargebacks". I don't even need to know what the scale is, just how this week compares to last week, etc.

                                                                                      It is really fucking annoying to think your shit is screwed up, only to discover that everyone else is having a hard time giving stuff away. This week has totally blown. It especially sucks because my actual click thrus and sponsor click counts are UP this week compared to last... but I too will likely take about 50% of last week. The surfers are there, how come they can't seem to buy anything?

                                                                                      It has been suggested to me that the current CC processors, especially the third party processors are either scrubbing to heck or potentially have hit some sort of limit on their ability to process, as things have just hit a wall.

                                                                                      Does anyone from the CC side of things care to comment on something like this, and potentially give us some guidance as to what is going on?

                                                                                      Oh yeah, program owners: The last thing I want to hear is the old "end of college year slow down". There seems to be a bullshit excuse for almost every other week of the year now (after christmas,got the christmas cc bills, mardigras, spring break, easter, cinco de mayo, international don't buy porn day... it's like there is an excuse every fucking week for why stuff don't sell - yet we were all selling in the past). I noticed the price of razors at the store went up recently, I am wondering if there has been a run on them?

                                                                                          Check your join page click to buy ratios....Compare pre October 2006 with afterwards. You can certainly deduce that there is an issue, but no one is certain about the cause. And this is across the board on all the processors.

                                                                                          Blaming it all on Zango or Russian Codec installers is just bs...This has become the industry's imaginary bogeyman. It's all about the scrub.

Even if adware / spyware cuts into 3% of my profits, that's still theft.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  And, even if it is only 3% right now, what will that percentage be in two more years with the obvious SIGNIFICANT increase in adware / spyware activity in OUR industry? I mean, a decent sized portion of this industry is in that game.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  So yeah....the boogeyman might be just be a bedtime story for now, but i'll tell you what...i'm still scared shitless of it.
