The wife and I started an Ebay-like BBS long before ebay was around. Sold ad space for local retailers and peeps that wanted to buy 'n sell stuff. We marketed it as "an online classified service".

Never really took off due to the node limitations at the time - and most people starting to discover the fledgeling Internet.

i thought about it after i seen one of those stores too...They dont do too well arounf here .... they all seem to shut down ....

umm temperature in cell phones would be cool, I'm not sure if any have it, but it's a great idea.
