He is bad ass.. Straight up.. Not that Jet Li isn't, but one is a fighting style and one is art.

NTM 05-25-2007 03:28 PM

Jet Li wins!

AK 05-25-2007 03:39 PM

never seen Jet Li doing those kind of stuff in real life tho.
but this guy is in front of a crowd.
don't get me wrong, I like Jet Li but this guy seems to be good.
I might have to rent his movie now.

this guy is a total fag

prancing around before a crowd doesnt equal fighting skills.

the movie sucked ass too, typical low budget asian crap

He really is a real fighter, where Jet Li is theatrical arts.

Too different types of fighting styles, atleast Jet Li is a accomplished movie star. I respect Jet Li most for his humility.

i'm going to try to make this short... but i make no promises. i love this stuff.

i was never a big jet li fan. i don't know why exaclty. he's def good. but i think based on youth, tony would have more stamina.

tony jaa kicks ass. his story is interesting. he grew up in a small village in thailand. as a kid, he wanted to do what he saw on tv, but didn't have any props, wires or equipment to train. so, he practiced with what he had around him in nature. he really climbs those walls and shit. lol

tony is our new jackie chan but possibly better. once, he learns english which he is, we'll prob see the budgets go up. the budget was already up for The Protector.

anyone catch the cameo appearance of jackie chan in his lastest movie, The Protector? A proverbial passing of the baton, I'd say.

Pleasurepays 05-25-2007 04:54 PM

Tony Jaa was amazing in The Protector.

ClickBuster 05-25-2007 04:58 PM

I think them both suck as real martial artists, tho both are talented and kick ass, they could be way better if they practice to kill instead to entertain :D What I see in this video is a choreographed acrobacy that can be seen exactly the same in some of the other videos listed on the right...

Is he good - definitely! There are tens of thousands of people out there that are at least as good or better :D

Rodent 05-25-2007 05:04 PM

He must have been watching this movie before he started his dance, or whatever you call that shit prancing around

You may want to read up a little. Yes Jet Li trained hard as hell, yes he did train to fight.. But the 'championships' or gold metals are for form, show, and the rich and not for direct fighting. Not that everything was show, but that's what he grew up doing.

rotowa85 05-26-2007 06:04 AM

jet li would destroy, him. the fact that ong bak can jumo around doing stupid flips doesnt mean shit. Jet Li is bar far the better fighter

thricer 05-26-2007 06:10 AM

Jet Li for sure :D
