what's the best p2p file sharing program out there?
I have both winmx and morepheus on my system.
winmx has a lot of files but man there's always a shitload of people waiting to download stuff and rarely do I ever get what I want. On morepheus I can't ever seem to find full cd's from various artists I like...only singles. |
they all suck

KazaA rules! I would use no other.
|
well kazaa is good for programs...but there ain't nothing good left for mp3s since audiogalaxy got shut down...
|
I like XNap (http://xnap.sourceforge.net)
It's written in JAVA, so it's cross-platform. The way it works is you download plugins for the protocols you want to use. Right now there are plugins for OpenNAP and OpenFT. I'm not sure what servers/protocol Kazaa and Morpheus use. SpaceAce |
use dalnet (irc) for mp3 albums...
|
Yes irc (mIRC) will always endure! Although dalnet was under some kinda of DoS attack the other day.......
|
The one I use - kazaalite.com ! I highly recommend it since it's free of adware.
|
I just go into Tower Records and steal cd's....then the next week, I take my old cd's and put them on the shelves....

Ever tried DirectConnect or DirectConnect++ ?
Not?? Well... go get one of them and you'll never use kazaa or any other shitty program.. If you want to download full albums, movies, proggies or games this is the best and fastest way to do it... just make sure that you share a lot, the more you share - the more you can access! Take a look at: DirectConnect DirectConnect ++ |
I-Mesh. Nothing beats it!
