Anyone had issues recieving email from or sending to gmail users?

It doesn't always happen, but every now and then, I can not send to anyone @gmail.com or recieve email from @gmail.com....and ONLY gmail.com email addresses

they try and send to me to all my email addresses and I see nothing.....and I try to send from multiple email addresses and they get nothing

it doesn't always happen, but 2 nights ago I sent someone something 4-5 times to their gmail and they never got it, and then they tried to send me something like 10 times and nothing showed up

anyone else having that issue?

btw...more proof for people to STOP using fucking free email services!!!!!

One of my personal emails is at Gmail and the only problem I've had is when sending to a friend that has AOL.

I had them send me a message first which cleared up the problem and I was able to mail them anytime.

I don't use any free emails, but for some reason gmail seems to be popular among webmasters

not sure why anyone would use a free service over their own hosting and domains, but oh well

I used to use my domain e-mail - but since moving 4 hosts since starting out, i'm sick and tired of losing e-mails from the "move" - switched to g-mail and have all 2-3 thousand sponsor/affiliate e-mails since moving and still only using 11% of my inbox.

Why some sponsors forbid the use of "free" e-mails is beyond me - must be a personal vendetta against the service is the only reason I can think of...

I've used gmail for the last 3-4 years or so, and I've had (to my knowledge) zero problems with it - incomming or outgoing.

I love using gmail for my support stuff. For me, I have had less problems with it than any other method.

The only problem Ive ever had with gmail, is in sending or reciving .zip attachments, which contain an .exe file...
The workaround is just to rename the .zip to .mp3 and it works fine !
