    This time tomorrow I'll be in the middle of the woods ....

    In the AM I'm leaving for my camping trip. we go to about 20.000 acres of woods near the Delaware Water Gap. For 4 days and 3 nights I'll be in the middle of nowhere cooking over a fire and shitting in a hole in the woods. It's great fun target shooting and chopping wood all day and at night we sit by the fire and drink a few beers. most likely the only person we will see other then the 5 of us will be the ranger if he stops by to check up on us. My son will be coming for the 2nd year now and he loves it. him and his cousin explore the woods all day and get to stay up with the big boys at night. great bonding time ... It's a guys only trip ( we bring the wives that want to come at the end of the summer) and it's just nice to have no TV, PC or phone for a few days. The only down side is the 4th day with no shower after chopping wood all day in the sun for 3 days . My wife loves it when I get home ..

                                  I'll be camping myself but I'm bringing two cases of those fire logs you can by at the grocery store.

                                  They burn for hours and provide nice flames when added to a wood fire.

                                          Sounds great but they do have portable solar showers now ya know. Hang it from a tree in the morning and it's good to go at the end of the day.
