So CCBill does this eh...
Your membership has been cancelled as of 2002-08-23. Your
account will become inactive on 2002-08-27. Please allow us to recommend some other adult related sites that may be of interest to you. The following sites utilize CCBill for their billing needs, and you will continue to receive the same world-class service if you choose to join them. http://www.hornybees.com/cgi-bin/Cat...t=64&PA=215583 |

What if I'm using them for non-adult sites!? OMG, they're sending this to all my members!?

Is that just a custom exit?

That cancellation email is 100% customizable.. if you dont like it, simply log in and change it.

By default, it was set to CCBucks, where you get the referral credit when a surfer signs up for a CCBucks site. When this was created, an email was sent out about it, about a year ago, if i remember correctly. My understanding is also that accounts classified as "non-adult" do not get the hornybees link on the cancelation email |
On a side note, if you use CCBill take some time to read the manuals I was suprised at the amount of things you can EASILY customize its amazing.
Enjoy |
I'm usually the first one to exclaim "RTFM" myself...then I read the manual more in depth and wow, a few features that are new/I didn't know about......
I gotta play with this upsale feature a bit more :) |

If I'm not mistaken there is an old thread that deals with this. There is a variable somewhere you can change to define your cancellation E-mail, this is their default I believe.
Just call customer support. Brad |
I got that same thing today. I thought they sold my e-mail addy or soemthing
|
just got back into town today, this is new to me...
is it a new cross sell?? anyone else missing payments from Epoch?? :feels-hot |
Geez, y'all pay attention.
That link pays the site owner on any new sales generated, and it's the default setting. The HB acct numbers were automatically assigned to every ADULT site owner. If you want something else, change it in your admin. If you don't want anything, turn it off, then all they get is an email that says they've been cancelled. |

thanks for the info, i hope they still keep you on the payroll... |
Something else came up in this one...
What about the fact that when members cancel, they get until the end of the period? I've always been curious as to whether that made sense. |
yes because they paid say 24.95 for 30 days
