Fletch XXX 08-24-2002 09:15 AM

Is that just a custom exit?

kmanrox 08-24-2002 09:21 AM

i htink you can turn that off, no?

Hooper 08-24-2002 09:24 AM

That cancellation email is 100% customizable.. if you dont like it, simply log in and change it.

thats right, you can make that link anything you want.

By default, it was set to CCBucks, where you get the referral credit when a surfer signs up for a CCBucks site. When this was created, an email was sent out about it, about a year ago, if i remember correctly.

My understanding is also that accounts classified as "non-adult" do not get the hornybees link on the cancelation email

On a side note, if you use CCBill take some time to read the manuals I was suprised at the amount of things you can EASILY customize its amazing.

Enjoy

SykkBoy 08-24-2002 11:20 AM

I'm usually the first one to exclaim "RTFM" myself...then I read the manual more in depth and wow, a few features that are new/I didn't know about......

I gotta play with this upsale feature a bit more :)

ya, it's been a while since I last customized the e-mails, and I do recall doing that as soon as our beta testing found horny-bees in it =)

If I'm not mistaken there is an old thread that deals with this. There is a variable somewhere you can change to define your cancellation E-mail, this is their default I believe.

Just call customer support.

ronin 08-24-2002 12:54 PM

just got back into town today, this is new to me...
is it a new cross sell??

anyone else missing payments from Epoch??

:feels-hot

Kimmykim 08-24-2002 04:12 PM

Geez, y'all pay attention.

That link pays the site owner on any new sales generated, and it's the default setting. The HB acct numbers were automatically assigned to every ADULT site owner.

If you want something else, change it in your admin. If you don't want anything, turn it off, then all they get is an email that says they've been cancelled.

Something else came up in this one...

What about the fact that when members cancel, they get until the end of the period? I've always been curious as to whether that made sense.

EscortBiz 08-24-2002 05:23 PM

yes because they paid say 24.95 for 30 days
