Seagate failed HD saga: they're replacing them with new ones
Seagate have offered to replace my four 7200.9 model drives with new 7200.10 model drives (not reconditioned). I've accepted and they'll be shipped today. I was hoping given all of the problems I've had they might also bump me up to a larger size, but you can't wish for too much. :)
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, my PC has had 5 failed Seagate 300GB SATA drives in it within the past couple of years: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=730491 http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=725866 http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=715949 etc etc |
