Quick Wordpress Question
This is for Wordpress 2.2
When in the 'Writing' tab, the box is setup so you have to write the code directly, unlike the earlier version where you clicked the "html" button and entered in the html. Is their a way to change this in 2.2 so it was like the older version? I think their is place where you check rich text editor or something but I can't find it. The reason I'm asking is when I enter in the html in this newer version, it messes up my text. It adds a bunch of spaces and it just doesn't look how I typed it up in frontpage. Help please? I know their is a place where you have an option on 'rich text editor' or something like that, I just can't find it. |

not sure what you mean man, I still have the dual boxes
did you try going to wp-admin/profile.php and checking "Use the visual editor when writing" |
umm yeah that's what I was looking for, but it still messes up the text. Jace do you have a minute on ICQ? Trying to contact you...

So . . . how was the pow-wow boys?:winkwink:
Jace, still planning to contact u soon. |
Yeah, actually Rich Text Editor is quite a bad thing. It can be useful just in a few situations. I would suggest to turn it off.

I guess if you copy the html from dreamweaver instead of frontpage it will show up properly. Haven't tried it yet though. Also, check the 'rich text editor' box doesn't help.
