Still can't believe Melinda isn't the American Idol.
 

Her performance tonight blew Jordin away in the group song and in her song with the Winan's.

But I agree Melinda was awesome!

Blake was entertaining tonight doing his Beatboxing with Doug E Fresh. I thought he was very good.

But as far as actual vocals go he wasn't up to par with Jordan or Melinda.

Melinda was/is by far the better singer of them all, but she doesn't have the same appeal as the others commercially I don't think.

Though I don't see the appeal of Jordan either so go figure.

I agree that she was the best singer in the competition. I think she could do really well singing gospel (as she did on the finale) or recording jazz/pop standards albums.

Until recently, they tended to be a UK thing and now do well in the States also.

Thats what I was gonna say... Melinda didnt win LOL
