Picture quality reminds me of an 80s film, maybe even the poses. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. |

The girls are fine. The pics are murky.

they are scanned, :)
We are trying to figure out how to scan about 3500 Negatives |

I can frequently get a shoot I did in the afternoon online by mid-evening when I shoot digital (which has become always). You are looking at weeks of scanning before you can earn a plug nickel. |
The lighting needs help -- also make the airbrush your best friend :)
|
too dark man
|
Yeah, well tell that to my partner, i got him setup with Digital now, but he is a pervert, not a computer geak!
If he could he would shoot photos everyday from 8-4 :winkwink: |
needs some lighting, but don't airbrush it. :2 cents:

go digital and get some quality lighting

The girls and poses look fine. I assume you have "hotter" pics. But;
Never shoot anything for scanning on a negative. Slides will always scan much better. Digital is good for the net but slide film wil always give you better depth and colour. Also you can tweak the the scan to improve it. Digital technology is a long way from replacing slide film. Which ever camera you go for the quality of the image firstly relies on the quality of the lens. Generally any lens made fo an amateur and costing less that $500 will give amateur results. Then the lighting, strobe flashlights for both indoor and outdoor work are the best way forward. Better light and control. $500+ per unit. You also must be more careful of where you shoot, shooting in a pool takes skill at lighting and until you have this skill, which takes a lot of practise, avoid and areas with reflective surfaces. I suggest you get your partnet to think of the money it makes and not getting his jollies on the business expenses. Buy in good sets so the site makes more money and he can keep his hobby where it belongs, as a hobby:) |
Gotta love that free Charly advice..
|
Well teh guy makes enought money to do what he wants, but for hte advise, thanks alote...
I'll let him know. And that is his Semi Olympic inside door at his house. I hate hime! :BangBang: |
charly makes some excellent points.. photography has been a hobby of mine for some time and I've been looking & researching to combe it with my newfound interest in the adult industry.
All else being equal, high quality pictures (good color balance, faithful reproduction, etc) are going to sell more than low quality, even if it is amateur or one of the other niches where "low quality" (like the voyeur, upskirt, wives at home, etc) is part of making the product seem realistic. I've never used one myself, but what of these 5 and more megapixel SLR digital cameras out now, for upwards of $4000? Some don't even include a lens! Is the price a result of the craftsmanship and image capture ability (including whatever filters and other active/passive elements might be built in) or is it more because they are able to take pictures at the same rate that you would with film/slides, or something else? These high end pieces of equipment are out of my realm of experience. |

Booker There are many benefits to buying one of those $4,000+ cameras. One is the speed at which they work, the cheaper ones are just too slow. Try doing a strobe series of shots with them. :feels-hot Speed of shooting is essential when shooting amateur, otherwise the pictures look to posed. The other is just the size and quality of the image and of course the ability to adjust the images before shooting. The reason they do not include a lens is so you can change lenses to suit subject matter. Porn is best shot on a lens 85mm+ We got a Nikon D1X, whole package cost $8,000 worth every penny. |
