At $27 million CAN the jackpot is nearly $1 for every citizen in Canada. If it rises next draw to 30 mill it will be even closer to that. In order to say the same in the US your jackpot would have to be $300 million.
That's how big this payout is in Canada.
And it's TAX FREE.
Our government doesn't stick it's nose in as soon as you win and steal 50% of your winnings like yours does.
And frankly, I find it hard to believe that anyone would snub their nose at even a 3 or 4 million dollar pot let alone one near 30 mill.

You know the old saying "you can't win if you don't play."
I rarely go out clubbing any more, so for less than the price of one beer at the bar I have a shot at winning some cash.... I think it's worth it.
It's just a matter of where your priorities are at.
