Does drinking Vitamin Water really make you healthier?

Does it really make you healthier and improve your longevity or chances of living a longer life? Just wondering.

It's pretty good. I'm getting addicted...

Your body absorbs what it needs and you piss away most of it

coke is looking to buy them

Those drinks only help in cases where you aren't getting enough vitamins.

If you ARE getting enough (i.e. through a good diet or a multivitamin) then they're a waste of time.

One thing most people don't understand: too much intake of fat soluble vitamins can be toxic.

I think the WATER part of Vitamin Water is really what will keep you the healthiest :thumbsup

toxicity only occurs under very very extreme circumstances. people don't need to understand it. water can be toxic.

dude... are you serious, this is got to be the stupidest question ever

starpimps 05-22-2007 07:03 PM

take a multi vitamin, eat healthy and that will make you healthier

vitamin water is a good gimmick tho

Jim_Gunn 05-22-2007 07:09 PM

That's a gimmick product, making money for sure though. You are better off eating healthy and drinking lots of plain water.

Tastes ok. Better for you than soda but water is probably better as its not got any calories :)

HA! I guess you have a point. By the time someone gets enough fat sols from that water to be toxic, they'll have had enough water for the water to be toxic.

I was just making a statement that people shouldn't just go injesting a bunch of nutritional supplements because they think "more is better". The only cases where "more is better" is money and horsepower.
