David Stern don't like that.

BusterBunny 05-22-2007 06:23 PM

hopefully they pick someone smart enough to wrap their weed in something other than tin foil while passing thru airports

Hey mang... good thing you didn't sell out your season tickets last year. It's gonna be a blast at the Rose Garden this year. Blazers got a new HD scoreboard screen coming soon too.

Oden will look good in Blazer gear. Zach will be dealt now.

Ramos 05-22-2007 06:40 PM

I knew you'd be very happy....hope portland picks the big man, although Durant could be the next Clyde Drexler or Kevin Duckworth lol.

seriously, looks like portland may start making the playoffs again.

boneprone 05-22-2007 06:49 PM

You think Zach is gone for sure?

Man, I really liked him this year.

We'll give Smush, Kwame, vujacic, brian cook, and maurice evans
and a draft pick for just taking Kwame off our hands.

Seriously though, Portland should be tough with durant or oden

TampaToker 05-22-2007 06:53 PM

And they will get the #1 NBA lottery pick next year as well :1orglaugh

SPACE GLIDER 05-22-2007 07:08 PM

boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Sosa 05-22-2007 07:10 PM

I like durant more the oden.

boneprone 05-22-2007 07:13 PM

The Blazers have the best Young talent of all the NBA.. Now with Oden, Jesus.........

This is a championship team in the making..

LaMarcus Aldridge our lottery pick last year will have a great year next year as well..

And lets not forget our Rookie of the year this year Brandon Roy. Our other lottery pick last year.

Mutt 05-22-2007 07:45 PM

that's the beauty of the NBA and the lottery - you can be in the wilderness one year and suddenly there's all the hope that a lottery pick brings - especially when it's the #1 overall and he's a manbeast like Oden.

definitely with Oden, Roy and Aldredge it's the making of a future championship contender.

get rid of Randolph - there are lots of players who looks great on BAD teams - he's one of them.

StickyGreen 05-22-2007 07:47 PM

Warriors will win it all next year... :smokin

I can't say for sure... but this really makes him expendable.

Looks like you're not a big Blazers fan man :1orglaugh

Randolph's a nice player, Oden or Durant will do good :winkwink: :thumbsup

ronin 05-22-2007 08:40 PM

it helps, BUT they need way more help then a #1 pick...imo

Maybe so but it's definately a step in the right direction. A dominating center is a very nice addition.

dank 05-22-2007 11:10 PM

The city is soooooo pumped up.

ITs Rip City all over again.

J-Reel 05-23-2007 12:30 PM

I say 2 to 3 years.

never underestimate KP. :thumbsup

Oden will be franchise-changing draft pick
Ohio State freshman center should be No. 1 pick, followed by Durant

Mark Humphrey / AP file.

Ohio State freshman center Greg Oden will be taken with the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft and that team, in this case, the Blazers, will play for the championship in the next five or six years.

boneprone 05-23-2007 07:03 PM

I just hope we can make the playoffs next year.

I just bought 2 more season tickets.. Now I have 4.. LOL...

The other two are in the Yellow section. 200 level.

Yeah Buddy!!!! :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Great day for the blazers though. You could make a really good argument for them taking Durant, but either way they totally scored. LOL @ the tanking Celtics:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

The Western Conference just gets stronger

Mutt 05-23-2007 07:41 PM

The Celtics are just fucking doomed - maybe next year they shouldn't piss off the basketball gods by throwing games.

it's a strong draft - looks like 2 franchise players and a few other potential stars.

Lebron, Carmelo, Wade, Bosh - that's the strongest draft 1-4 ever.

howard 05-23-2007 07:43 PM

congrats man---

I got a trade you boys should try to make......makes so much sense

zach randolph to 76ers for andre miller (makes 10mil per year for next 2 seanson) so money works...

gives you 30 year old leader top 10 point guard----perfect for your young team

76ers desperate for pf...any idea how him and cheeks got along?

Sosa 05-23-2007 07:43 PM

what do your season tickets cost bone? If your looking for a reseller let me know. I deal in the ticket niche some and got a place that will get you some good bucks on your extras.

howard 05-23-2007 07:45 PM

portland tic value just quadrupled

Go Blazers! :thumbsup

Subtle 06-28-2007 06:46 PM

Three Cheers!!!

GatorB 06-28-2007 06:50 PM

He will be a bust. Same team that passed on Michael Jordon for Sam Bowie

CyberAgeGary 06-28-2007 08:21 PM

Channing and Steve Francis should really help out Portland, but overall they will probably be a 35-47 team...Losing Zach Randolph will really hurt them... Seattle got some really good young talent as well getting # 2 and # 5 picks... If Kobe goes, and Stoudemire goes then there will be some weird stuff going on in the Western Division this year....

V_RocKs 06-29-2007 04:22 PM

Good luck on that "kid"...

You know you will trade him away for money at some point... He will never see your court.

Chester D. 06-29-2007 04:24 PM

you own the blazers?
