not everyone develops, builds and works on porn sites.

besides it was a rhetorical question. I was pretty sure it was illegal, I was curious as to how they were getting away with it - they even have CCBILL as their processor.

Definitely smells like a cam network in the member area - the crappy (amateur) quality of screen grabs sure looks like that.

The question should really be, why is CCBill still processing for a site that doesn't have any of the 2257 docs for that content.

Webby it's amateur content grabbed from newsgroups, that site doesn't own the content. Infact it's highly possible that some of the content is underage, so that's really the concern imo.

Since the site doesn't own the content (it's stolen) it doesn't have any docs to prove the models are over 18. CCBill is processing for a site that by default is breaking their rules regarding 2257 and more importantly Mastercard and Visas rules regarding 2257.

There is such thing as public domain content but you will not find any porn, just crappy songs and cool nasa pictures.

What happens if I take a picture of a nice girl having sex with her boyfriend on a public beach than post it in a news group and all over the picture sharing places, do I need 2257 info for that picture? Can I put that picture on my own paysite?

The original owner still owns the copyright on any images they produce - forever. There is no "public domain" - heres a quick lesson - I ran a site where I compiled a collection of transgendered girls, and categorized them by name, imagine my surprise when the actual t-girl IMed me and said - "what are you doing with my pictures?"

Needless to say I got schooled on public domain and copyright right quick.

Just don't do it unless you created the content yourself, or have a license.
