We aggregate a larger sample than pool and also pool is in conflict with snapnames priority domains which we are not. pool is a place to backorder domains you find with us though, along with all the other places. we tell you if the name is a snap domain too so you can just backorder it at snap.

Can you tell what registrar these domains expired from? If any are from regfly you are going to lose them to the old owners and/or the old owners will be able to get the domains back if they did expire.

Lots of people have been losing domains, could be tossing money down the drain.

these domains are not in the redemption period and you can see patterns as portfolios get dropped. the prior domain owner would have to contact the new owner of the domain to try and buy it at this point.

Many regfly domains have expired and dropped out of redemption period. Any of these domains will be able to returned to the original owner, if you paid for it or not. It's just down the point of who the registrar is that will handle this, then a few million domains will be able to returned to the rightful owners.

I see registrars have been selling regfly transfer specials and the word has been out for a while to transfer. over the course of a few years and beyond, oddball things happen like this- but most of the time it is a very straightforward lottery/auction w/some registrars using some less than straightforward tactics of course. also, a lot of domainers would give over the domain if a regfly customer can prove they were frozen out. over the long-haul domain karma does figure.

so after thinking more about this- i am not sure what the real downside is. if a domain gets credited back, snap or enom or pool or others will credit your account back. if netsol was negligent in properly keeping the regfly domains secure then netsol will get sued again. but, the 2 month lockup and all the attempts to contact domain owners.. etc.. we'll see what happens but there is no bad faith by any of us who acquire domains fair and square.

the policy at http://HuntingMoon.com is to give the regfly domain back if somebody can show a pattern of being ignored by regfly and/or netsol etc..

and to answer your question- no, we do not know if it was a regfly domain. it's still business as usual and http://PDDW.com is updating its testimonials shortly.
