How long do you wait to resolve a problem?

I'm trying to contact someone on a deal that started almost three weeks ago and am not getting any response. Not much money is involved but I hate not getting a response. Ive sent numerous emails and just want to get this done; I know if I don't follow-up now I will forget about it.

How long should I give this person to fix the situation? And it is someone on the board.

I just looked and I started this on April 30th with one response three days later then nothing.

Let me guess . . . . either a programmer or a designer?

No, just someone selling a site/domain. The hangup is in transferring the domain.

Did you already pay? There is no reason for that to not be done immediately.

I paid quickly as the guy asked but then he went quiet. Ive seen that he's posted here within the last week so hopefully he sees this and finalizes the transfer.
