Windows explorer freezes when I try to move files..How to fix it?
I don't know what in the fuck is wrong but all of a sudden, I can't move files from one folder to the other and this also affects programs like Studio 8 where I need to retrieve the video before I can edit it..

I hope this isn't too basic, but I had that problem, and I don't think its a windows explorer problem, I think it's a virtual memory problem.
Dump as many temporary file as you can, free up some space, check to see if you need a defrag, and reboot. If you have done all of that and that was a grade school answer, my apologies, but it worked for me. ..and after that, send gates a pissed off email. |

why don't you reboot and see if it happens again ? please tell me that you did that already |
Everything Windows is a HOG when it comes to processor.
Those are very draining programs. Free up some space and run just those, with nothing unimportant running in the background. |
