Ways of promoting an adult DVD website!

as the title says! apart from pay per click on google etc and swapping links, does anyone know of other ways of promoting/marketing this type of site??

I understood ... I operate 3 shops ... I post weekly some clips and pics from the new releases ... brings traffic .. and sales. Each site also has its members site section .. so they can choose : buy or download.

Check with your ISP to see they offer newsgroups. If they don't, do a search on google for usenet.

You can start your own thread, actually, you can start your own newsgroup if you like.

You drop shipping them or you buying the DVDs direct?

That is the way to go ... Newsgroups provided by your ISP are mostly incomplete ... Postings also end up incomplete most of the time...

Many paid services are offered such as giganews , usenetserver, and so on...


My on line shops are very specific european niches ... I do not handle yet TS .

I also am teamed up with a national distributor in Canada ( to vid stores and ppv ), so we pick up rights from Europe ( either finished goods in NTSC, or we manufacture a glass master for replication ).

No drop shipment for us.
