its plain & simple... no filler all thriller :)

i think everyone can appreciate that, its like classified ads in the paper

it pretty much sucks design wise, which is why it works so well

It's free, sticks to it's guns about no advertising, fights spam and provides everything everybody's paying for elsewhere in REAL TIME, which is why is does so well.

When will the world learn...

How much of a key do you think the 'no advertising' policy is?
I think that people in general have banner / advertising overload sometimes..

it brings in over $10 million a year so maybe there is something to be said about simplicity. hmmmmm........

Here's the key - "design" of something is marketable for a minute. "Function" is marketable until better function is made.

There is a lot of money on craigslist.

I remember when I bought a condo and was looking for tenants/roommates a few years ago. I paid $43 for a 3-day classified ad in my local big cuty paper and got only one CALL. Zero trues prospects.

I posted on Craigslist for free and within a few days had some good prospects come over and within a few weeks, got my tenants! I have gotten 5 now this way.
