How do image thumb scripts like www.imagebeaver.com work? Creating a undistorted thumb centered on the main topic of the photo, it always seems to know where to center the picture to topic.

Is there any program like this that can auto thumb? I always seem to get a crop of the girls knee instead of a face or something, lol
