Passwords file issue! HELP !

Hi to all.

Here is my issue: there is common passwords file the same for all sites and billings to use the multiaccess feature. So all passwords to all sites are in this one common file.
The problem is that this file crashes every day and only 20% of the passwords remain in it after the crash.
With the apache logs I`ve determined that it happens when the scripts of one of the billings are being run once a day for all my sites simultaneously.
The new scripts of this billing replacement with the old ones and vice versa has changed nothing.
Adding passwords for every sites through its separate script has changed nothing.
There is a lot of free space on the hdd also.
Seems like there is an issue with read-write of the passwords file so that one script interferes with another one and the process breakes and the file crashes.
Its determined exactly that it happens when this billing scripts are being run simultaneously.

The situation is catastrophical.
I have to restire the passwords file manually every day.
Unfortunately the billing support cant help me with this trouble.

Maybe someone had this issue before?
Please advise me what to do.
Where can be the problem?

If someone had similar situation please hit me up on icq 306708705.

Thanks.
