How much does a 60/40 or 70/30 split affect your interest in promoting content? We are almost ready to go, but want to gauge the interest in such things.

How many prefer one time payments vs. lifetime shares?

We will be updating initially every 6th day, but eventually (once we hit the break even point) will be updating daily (using a CMS). Episodes (all photo sets and video sets for an episode) are about 1 to 1.5 Gig of total conent, roughly 400 pics and 45-60 mins of video (sometimes a little more, sometimes slightly less)(when updating daily it will take on average 4-5 days to exhaust one episode and new episodes will begin every 3rd or 4th day). Solo girls and g/g content, personality driven, multiple masturbation scenes, some public locations, high quality photography and HD captured video.

Did I miss anything?

60/40 is a good split. I don't know how much I would trust a 70/30 split unless it was with a reputable company. Then again the bottom line is the final factor.

If a company is offering 70/30 they must have a lot of faith in their retention or in xsells or 'something else'...

understandable... but obviously it all comes down to the COGS for me as the producer. I also pay out via CCBill so that would seem like a benefit as well.

we do mostly revshare, and the people who do 70/30 for us get pushed harder for sure...
