Buying Tracffic ... pro/con
 

What are the pros and cons to doing this. I just recently opened a new site that I am just beginning to start working on the traffic and getting it reviewed. Any help would be great

if people really had high-quality traffic they wouldn't be selling it for $5 per 1,000, they'd be funneling it to their own sites. if you buy traffic, do tests. don't buy a lot at one time because it might be purely rubbish traffic. be careful out there. if you want good traffic, you're better off submitting to the top tgps (such as thehun.net), getting your banners posted on other sites or heavily pushing your affiliate program.

quite simply put, its only good for getting trades going.

And don't use Traffic Holder, run their site through Alexa and look at their 30% Brazillian trafic :1orglaugh

It's all about Choker :winkwink: Do the same Alexa search on Choker and you'll see that they have good traffic.

It's only gonna be laggy if you have a bad connection. Everything okay on our end :)

If you want useful traffic, then don't just rely on buying your way out of things. I.E. buying traffic isn't always the best way to get your site known.

I am submitting TGP's every morning through Chameleon and the posting to the only 10 to 15 pic post sites I can find at the moment. other than that, I have traded a few links with some sites and I am all over Myspace and some message boards.

Any other advice would help?

Set up a blog and update it every day. Really interact with people who visit and leave comments.

We fully filter out all Brazilian and Chineze traffic from all niches.
So, if you buy traffic of any niche, from any domain, you will
not get Brazil or China traffic at all. There is a big words on
buying page: "No China & Brazil traffic"

Alexa shows big percentage of Brazil, because most of Brazil hits
we filter thru JavaScript and only this traffic Alexa shows.
Factically we filter about 22% of our's traffic thru javascript.

I would recommend you to check real TH traffic before writing
(Click "available traffic" at main page of Traffic Holder)

Yes, we have a lot of Brazil hits (about 300K), but
Brazil traffic possible to buy only in the "BR" niche if you choose this
country.

TH traffic quality is much better now. We filtered out all sites and
out TOP sellers are bigger reputable and older sites. Check them

Before using Traffic Holder I was using Google Adwords pay per click service. Google was relatively expensive, but productive. I paused my Google ads and started using Traffic Holder. Overall, my "sales" are as good as they were with Goolge Adwords for a fraction of the cost.

I recommend Traffic Holder, but like any method of generating traffic you have to tweek it to fit into your niche and demographic.

Finally, TH allows you to choose sites you want traffic from. Some of these sites have closed their trades or are extremely selective in who they trade with. By going through Traffic Holder you can benefit from their traffic without the link trade.

It all sounds good in theory, but tht honest to god truth here is this....

Unless you have a ton of knowledge and experience with Traffic Holder or Choker, you are wasting your money. Bottom Line!!

The fact is that sure, everyone here will say go with Traffic Holder or Go with Choker, but I have went with both in the past and let me tell you. i spent a good amount of money over a period of time and seen diddly squat from either of them.

Is it because their traffic sucks? Or maybe because i bought the wrong types of traffic? or it could be because i didnt click the right button..... The point is, i never knew why!!

The customer service at both of those companies is shit. if you go to traffic holder, and do not have a working knowledge of how it all works (and believe me, not everyone knows how it works), you are never going to get what you wanted to get, even when you think you are.

The systems both have in place are the most User UNfriendly systems in the world and without any support from their customer service, what is the point.

I would sure love to benefit from thos sites that i could only get through traffic holder or choker, but i do not know exactly how to do it, therefore i spend my money on link spots and banner spots and deal directly with webmasters.

And i know that their will be posts below claiming that they have had good experiences or choker and traffic holder will try and defend themselves somehow, but the point is... for 3 months i didnt get help from either, even though i was spending my money. An notice that anyone who will stick up for them (See above) will have a link to the traffic company in the post so they get credit for a sale.

So, maybe the traffic is great, maybe it is shit, I just wish i could actually find out.
