I had to go once, I got out of it because I said my father was a convicted felon and my cousin was in prison.

But saying you are self employed isn't going to make a difference to them, so that suggestion won't work.

i just got one the other day. i called in and delayed it 90 days in advance which gives me about 90 days to move out of los angeles county to get out of it :winkwink:
