I haven't received that mail, but I do have the tags up.

Iron Fist 05-16-2007 05:51 AM

Just added it to my site.. I already labelled with ICRA, but this button looks cool :)

PornDiscounts-R 05-16-2007 06:21 AM

Lance69 05-16-2007 06:38 AM

On all my sites, and it seems to work. Due diligence, not just a passing fad!

PointerAdv_Lindsay 05-16-2007 06:46 AM

RTA tags

I am using the RTA label on all of my sites now. RTA is a good thing. Being proactive is the smart choice. ;)

scottybuzz 05-16-2007 06:48 AM

Yes is on all my sites.

Why 05-16-2007 08:03 AM

we use it. if it can potentially help keep the heat off my back, ill do it.

fusionx 05-16-2007 08:43 AM

We use it on every site we deploy.

schneemann 05-16-2007 08:57 AM

Registered with RTA long ago.
I wonder how many "safe surfing" programs recognize it? I doubt it is as widely recognized as the ICRA label, so I think people need to do both.

munki 05-16-2007 08:59 AM

We've had RTA up since launch...

NTSS 05-16-2007 09:26 AM

Hadn't heard of them till now but thanks for the info...I definately will add their label.

Just to clarify...

Hey, Rick from ASACP here.

Just wanted to clarify that ASACP has asked webdesigners to RECOMMEND that their clients' sites use the RTA tag. As important as we think labeling is, we still don't want the RTA tag inserted in anyone's page headers without their knowledge or consent.

By keeping RTA voluntary this way, we not only help parents protect their kids, but we also get to demonstrate that the adult industry is capable of self-regulation.

Thanks to all the designers who have agreed to recommend RTA to their clients, and to all the adult sites that are already using RTA!

More info available at RTAlabel.org

The parental control software systems that recognize the RTA - Restricted to Adult label are listed at http://rtalabel.org/partners.php.

We are talking to other companies, too. but, they want to see more traction (adoption) by the industry. That's why we are asking for everyone's help. Let's show the world that the industry can self-regulate and is interested in protecting children.

By giving the parents another tool (one designed by and for the industry - http://rtalabel.org/news.php), it demonstrate our commitment to child protection. Then it's up to the parents to be responsible, too!!!

I run nothing but teen freesites and TGPs - if you run younger looking teen sites, you'd be stupid not to be labelling anyways - and don't forget your 2257 statements as well.

Fat Panda 05-16-2007 11:05 AM

i use the labels

http://www.adultratingassociation.org/
http://www.rtalabel.org/index.php/

and submit to net nanny and other programes

only to save my ass

Vegas Ken 05-16-2007 03:13 PM

Hey!

I did not see the email myself, but I HIGHLY recommend that everyone use the RTA or ICRA labels. We support both.

Do the right thing for your business, the Industry and for the Kids and support the RTA Tags. I can't enforce how important it is.
